We just had our last date with the rake...at least until next year.

don't know if you know this or not, but raking an acre of yard is hard
work! I've never had to do it before until we moved into this house.
Now I want a leaf blower. :) Any way, we made a small pile for the kids
to play in. Scout wasn't digging it, but Rori loved it. All of the
trees are now bare and look ready for winter, but the temps have been so
high lately! I'm beginning to wonder if winter will skip us this year.

We have about a 3 acre yard and we live out in the country without neighbors close enough to care what our yard looks like....so yep, we don't even bother trying to rake this huge thing!
3 acres!! That's huge! lol. You want know something? I wouldn't rake my yard either if I had three acres, hahaha! I bet it is really fun to have all that space though. Do you garden or raise animals?
